Negevtech Initiates Worldwide Marketing Campaign for the Revolutionary 302 Wafer Inspection System
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - July 10, 2003 - Following the breakthrough launch of its pioneering Step & ImageTM technology, Negevtech, Inc announced that it had initiated a worldwide marketing campaign for the revolutionary Negevtech 302 wafer inspection system. As part of this campaign, Yuval Levin has been appointed corporate vice president of sales and marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, Levin is responsible for driving Negevtech's global marketing and sales efforts.
This follows several other key personnel appointments made in recent months as part of the strengthening of the company's international marketing and sales force. Levin joins Paul Shirra, recently appointed vice president of sales and marketing for North America and manager of Negevtech, Inc. in Santa Clara, California. Shirra has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment space.
"We are a young company with highly experienced managers and engineers," said Dr. Gadi Neumann, Negevtech's managing director. "Our objective is to cause a shift in the wafer inspection market and we have all the elements in place to do that. We have the pioneering Step & Image technology, the revolutionary 302 wafer inspection system and now we have the personnel to reach our business objectives."
In addition to these key appointments, Negevtech also recently appointed Christophe Fouquet as director of marketing and Dr. Kenny Ye as senior marketing manager. Fouquet and Ye, each with vast experience in the semiconductor equipment market, will be based in the Santa Clara offices and will be responsible for the company's drive in the US and Asian markets respectively.
Negevtech's debut at SEMICON West in San Francisco next week is also seen as a key element of the company's new drive. At the show Negevtech will be demonstrating recent 302 system results and releasing additional information relating to the recently launched Negevtech 302 wafer inspection system. Negevtech will be located at booth number 442, South Hall, Moscone Center.
Negevtech's 302 Wafer Inspection System
Designed for entry at the 90 nanometer (nm) semiconductor manufacturing node and optimized for next generation 65 nm wafer inspection, Negevtech's 302 wafer inspection system is a high resolution brightfield imaging system with both brightfield and darkfield illumination.
The 302 is sensitive to the largest variety of critical defects, making it the ideal solution for advanced technology wafer inspection. The 302's revolutionary speed eliminates the need to compromise sensitivity for throughput and offers a 10 times improvement in cost of ownership.
