Negevtech is an innovative company specializing in high-resolution wafer inspection for finding defects and controlling yields in semiconductor wafer processing. Founded in 2000 by prominent experts in electro-optics and image processing, Negevtech's mission is to bring a new look to IC wafer inspection by addressing the detection and cost of ownership (COO) limitations of conventional inspection methods.
Core Technology
Step&ImageTM is a rapid departure from 1D imaging used by conventional wafer inspection systems. The innovative and patented 2D image formation and acquisition technology enables defect detection down to 20nm by using a unique combination of high numerical aperture (NA) optical imaging, highly efficient 2D Fourier optical pattern suppression, selectable coherent brightfield and multi-mode darkfield illumination, and an ultra-large array of CCD sensors.
Products
Negevtech redefined wafer inspection of memory devices with the Negevtech 3100, the first system to span front-end of line (FEOL) and back-end of line (BEOL) inspection applications while delivering the lowest cost of ownership. Built on Step&Image technology, the Negevtech 3100 and the subsequent 3100 EχP and 3200 products enabled leading edge memory makers to find new classes of killer defects simply not seen by their existing conventional systems.
Negevtech recently extended its memory inspection sensitivity and dramatically increased production throughput with the introduction of the 3300 series.
Customers will see their effective throughput increased by 3-4x in both brightfield and darkfield modes. To further optimize CoO, the 3300 series is available in two models, the high speed configured 3320 and the high speed and high sensitivity 3370.

The company's headquarters and R&D center are located in Rehovot, Israel, in the heart of the "Image Processing Triangle" and in close proximity to the renowned Weizmann Institute of Science.
